My Holmberg
I sense great freedom in the media of textile. The cultural meaning and everlasting necessity of textile holds great value and is a deep well of inspiration.
My first contact with shibori, ( a japanese resist technique), was during my studies at University of New South Wales in Sydney. Later on I had the possibility to explore this traditional technique more in depth, at Konstfack, University of Design and Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden.
Working with textle is like a continuous journey of discovery.
